And...the books arrived at their destination much quicker than the previously-told requisiter time of 10 days. Most arrived along with their first-class counterparts!!
Not only was the staff helpful, they also saved BOTH the purchasers and myself considerable $$ by sending the books media mail. Although this suggestion required more time and effort for the postal staff, the purchasers of my book were thrilled. (Sending the books in prepaid priority boxes is BOTH inconvenient--books don't often fit the pre-designed custom boxes-as well as VERY expensive.)
EVERYONE at the Cambridge City (Indiana) Post Office goes over and beyond to assist its customers!!
As editor of the Historic National Road Yard Sale Cookbook, I mailed over 250 + books.
The CC postal staff carefully weighed EACH box prior to shipping. It was also same staff who advised delivery confirmation.
Constantly have to go through my neighbors mailbox just to get my mail (at a place with only 2, clearly labeled, apartment boxes). Staff also unable to give decently accurate arrival dates. If I'm told it'll arrive by Wednesday for sure, it's a bit annoying when I check my tracking number to see an arrival date of Friday.
